Hibiscus Coast
This is a second piece created as part of an International Project between encaustic wax artists.
Hibiscus Coast was named after the bold red hibiscus flowers and hints of velvety gold sand interspersed with pastel grey seashells.
I chose colours in softer swirling lines reminiscent of the gentle movement of the breeze through the coastal flora.
These more organic strokes help to convey the sense of richness and beauty in nature often felt when gazing along a coastline.
